by Guy Hiscott

The Irish Dental Nurses Association (IDNA) will be hosting a scientific lecture on 8 September entitled Saliva – why is it so important? at the Dublin Dental University Hospital.

The event will be presented by Catherine Waldron, director and lecturer for the dental hygiene programme at Dublin Dental University Hospital, alongside Dr Michael Dodds, Wrigley’s oral health lead for scientific and analytical discovery.

The event is free to attend for the entire dental team, including IDNA members and non-members. Before and after refreshments will commence in the board room at 18:30, with lectures continuing in Lecture Theatre 1 at 19:00.

Those who attend the event will receive two verifiable CPD points.
