Northern Irish success at UK Dentistry Awards

by Guy Hiscott

Four Northern Ireland practices have walked away with awards at the UK Dentistry Awards 2016.

Yew Tree Dental Practice, based in Newry, won Best Team in Northern Ireland. Belfast-based practice Blue Sky Dentistry was highly commended in the same category, and was later highly commended for Best Practice in Northern Ireland.

Victoria McPolin, orthodontic therapist at Zen Orthodontics, took away the award for Best Team Member in Northern Ireland. She says: ‘I was thrilled to win my award! To be acknowledged at a national level is amazing. I foresee the benefits of winning such an award as helping set Zen Orthodontics apart from other practices, and to help inspire others to enter awards in future.’

CD Fair Dental won Best Patient Care in Northern Ireland. Dunmurry Dental Practice was highly commended for the same award and later won Best Practice in Northern Ireland.

All the Northern Ireland winners are finalists in the 2017 Irish Dentistry Awards. See the full list in Irish Dentistry‘s January issue.
