Cork practice creates guide to teeth whitening

County Cork based dental practice Dervla Leavy Dental Care has created an infographic to increase awareness on the correct methods of tooth whitening.
The infographic presents facts and stats about tooth whitening as well as causes of discolouration, natural remedies, and how it works.
Dervla Leavy from the practice commented: ‘There are many options available that do not provide the recommended medical supervision, and can ultimately cause damage to teeth.
‘The infographic shows some interesting statistics on the benefits of whiter teeth, as well as listing some natural methods of improving oral hygiene and preventing discolouration.
‘The importance of a great smile has never been more important from a professional and social point of view; many studies indicate that first impressions can be judged in the first seven seconds, so our appearances play a vital role to career progression and relationships.
‘For instance, 31% of women believe a man’s teeth to be an important characteristic!’
