Belfast practice scoops two 2014 Dentistry Awards

Belfast-based Dunmurry Dental Practice has scooped two wins in the 2014 Dentistry Awards – Best Patient Care and Best Team.
The team are ‘over the moon’ with their win, according to practice manager Debbie McLorinan.
‘We are delighted to be recognised in these two awards categories. Best Patient Care is a huge win – it helps set you apart and adds credibility to your practice.’
Debbie puts the practice’s win down to hard work, continual engagement with the public, and a spirited practice atmosphere.
‘We are lucky to have a good team spirit and friendly staff. We are always doing something, whether it’s running initiatives like our smoking cessation clinic or oral hygiene assessments for kids, or joining in charity days like the “blue lip selfie” for Mouth Cancer Action Month last November.’
Since 2011 the practice has expanded from seven members of staff to 23. Debbie commented: ‘The team are still buzzing from the win!’
Diamond Dental Clinic also won Best Practice at the 2014 Dentistry Awards, and are finalists in the 2015 Irish Dentistry Awards.
