Interactive teaching for implantology

by Guy Hiscott

The Interactive surgery and prosthetics year-long programme, presented by Mark Diamond and Pearse Stinson, will take place at Fortwilliam Clinic in Belfast. The programme enables general dental practitioners to identify suitable implant cases to treat safely.

Nathalie Muller of Woodlawn Dental Clinic, Dublin, said: ‘Carrying out implant placement on my own patients during the course was hugely beneficial, with the guidance and supervision of both Pearse and Mark. I was not just learning the theory; I had the opportunity to practise and grow in confidence, sure that I was doing the right thing.’

The course content is comprehensive, CPD-approved and leads to a certificate in implant dentistry.

The programme starts on 9 September 2011 and finishes 18 May 2012 (10 days over nine months). The course costs £350+VAT per day (advance bookings only) and is limited to a maximum of 10 delegates.
