Dentistry is seen as one of the three the most popular career choices for secondary school pupils in Ireland. Also on the list were medicine and pharmacy.
That’s according to research released by BT Young Scientist & Technology, based on a survey of secondary students.
Almost 50% of respondents believe that science and technology are the areas that offer the most opportunities for entrepreneurs setting up a business in Ireland.
