Successful conclusion to Northern Ireland dental project

On behalf of Oasis Dental Care Limited, Rapleys LLP Commercial Property and Planning Consultants successfully completed the acquisition of all sites, obtained change of planning use and designed and project-managed the construction of 14 new dental practices in Northern Ireland.

Potentially suitable premises spanned a variety of property types and Rapleys identified and short-listed suitable alternatives for each location. Oasis required some specific lease terms based on the contract it was awarded and Rapleys was able to secure these while still delivering approximately £100,000 per annum of rental savings across the project. Further support was provided through the legal process to ensure that transactions were completed on time.
 
The sites are branded as Oasis’ flagship practices, providing exemplary clinical facilities and welcoming patient experiences.
 
The production of detailed layout plans and specifications has developed a strong corporate brand in Northern Ireland, which was one of Oasis’ key objectives through the use of high quality materials and finishes consistent on all sites.

Implementation of state-of-the-art clinical and mechanical and electrical systems complies with the latest healthcare legislation and provides a ‘best practice’ dental facility for staff and patients alike.

Strict deadlines set by the health board and close financial control of the project meant that the project was delivered to the budget on time and to an extremely high standard.
 
The roll out programme in Northern Ireland is considered to be the new benchmark for all future new sites for Oasis.
