by Guy Hiscott

Oral cancer and mucosal disorders commonly seen in the practice of dentistry was top of the agenda at a recent continuing professional development course held at Cork University Dental School and Hospital.

The event was led by Professor James F Drummond, professor emeritus of oral pathology at the University of Kentucky, who has extensive clinical and teaching experience and has authored numerous publications on the subject.

Covering the ‘nuts and bolts’ of clinical oral pathology, Practical oral pathology for the oral health practitioner focused on oral cancer and mucosal disorders commonly seen in the practice of dentistry.

This successful event was attended by a group of United States dentists visiting Ireland, as well as local dental practitioners.
